Virtual Care Services

How is virtual care different from in-person care?

Virtual care provides the same high-quality primary care services you’d receive at an in-person appointment, but from the comfort of your home or office. Virtual visits are secure and conducted using a phone, tablet or computer making it easier to access your care team.

What conditions can be treated virtually?

Your primary care provider is your trusted partner for everyday health. They manage both short- and long-term conditions while helping you navigate the healthcare system. BILH virtual primary care providers can manage, diagnose, and treat:

  • Cold, flu, and respiratory infections
  • Allergies
  • Skin conditions (e.g., rashes, eczema, acne)
  • Mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression
  • Chronic conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, etc.
  • Medication management and prescription refills
  • Referrals to specialists for specific health concerns
What if I need an in-person appointment?

If our virtual providers determine that in-person care is necessary, we’ll coordinate an in-person appointment at a BILH location near you.

Can virtual care providers prescribe medications?

Yes. Virtual providers can electronically prescribe medications to your preferred local pharmacy. However, certain prescriptions may require an in-person visit.

Can virtual care providers order lab testing or imaging?

Do I need a referral to use BILH Virtual Primary Care?

No referral is necessary. You can directly enroll in BILH Virtual Primary Care and schedule appointments with our virtual primary care team.
