COVID-19 Vaccines

Stay Protected and Up-to-Date

Getting vaccinated and staying up to date with your vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and those around you from COVID-19. We encourage everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Here's how you can get your shot:

  • Visit the Massachusetts online directory to view hundreds of vaccination sites and search for locations. Or visit your state's website to find a location near you.
  • Call the Massachusetts COVID-19 Vaccine Resource Line (2-1-1) and follow the prompts. The Resource Line is available in English and Spanish and has translators available in approximately 100 additional languages.
  • Visit vaccines.gov, text your ZIP Code to 438829 (GETVAX), or call 1-800-232-0233 (TTY: 888-720-7489) for assistance in English, Spanish, and many other languages. For the Disability Information and Access Line (DIAL), call 1-888-677-1199 or email DIAL@n4a.org.

People who are up to date with their vaccine are at lower risk for severe illness, hospitalization, and death resulting from COVID-19 than those who are unvaccinated or only received the primary series. Learn more about the benefits of the COVID-19 vaccine on the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.

Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination

When you were vaccinated, you received a paper card that tells you what COVID-19 vaccine you received, the dates you received it, and where you received it. This card can be used as proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Here are other types of proof of vaccination:

Digital Vaccine Card

If you were vaccinated in Massachusetts, the state may have a record of vaccinations you've received. This may include COVID-19, influenza, tetanus and others. Visit My Vax Records to get more information and access your COVID-19 digital vaccine card.

If you were vaccinated in another state, check that state's website for information on COVID-19 vaccination records.
