About Our Practice

Mount Auburn Pediatrics at Cambridge offers an established group of board-certified pediatricians and experienced staff who have come together out of a commitment to provide the best health care for every child in our practice. We provide personal, preventative, and professional care for outpatient pediatrics, from infancy through adolescence, in the Beth Israel Lahey Health network.

From routine checkups and vaccinations to advice on breastfeeding, sleep problems, childhood safety, development, and illnesses, we are available to answer your questions and care for your children as they grow.

Patient Information

Our Services

Our pediatric services include:

  • Well care and sick visits for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults
  • Same-day appointments for sick visits, injuries, or other urgent medical conditions
  • Access to medical advice for urgent health problems after hours, on weekends, and holidays
  • Saturday hours for urgent visits
  • Access to an online medical record via MyChart, which allows ease of communication and timely test results for patients
  • In-office prenatal visits with expectant parents as a way of starting this important and long-lasting relationship
Patient Confidentiality

We are committed to upholding the confidentiality of our adolescent patients, and upholding Massachusetts state law surrounding adolescent confidentiality as well as the policies of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society for Adolescent Medicine. Mount Auburn Hospital restricts parent/proxy portal access at age 14.

Please note all non-portal requests for Mount Auburn Hospital adolescent medical records are processed by the Health Information Management department by email or at 617-499-5665, ext. 3049. For all non-portal requests of physician office adolescent medical records, please contact your physician office directly.

Vaccinations

We firmly believe that vaccines are safe and effective, prevent serious illness, and save lives. We believe that children should receive all recommended vaccines according to the vaccine schedule published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). We are committed to providing the best care possible to all of our patients, which includes protecting them from vaccine preventable illnesses.

Saturday 8:30 am – 11:00 am

Saturday hours are for urgent, sick and newborn visits only. After hours calls are taken by experienced pediatric nurses, who will give medical advice and can reach the on-call MD if needed. There is always an on-call MD who can be reached.
