As President of Winchester Hospital, Stephen Chandler leads the 229‑bed facility, which is a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services in northwest suburban Boston. Winchester Hospital offers a wide range of surgical specialties, including general, bariatric, urologic, thoracic, otolaryngology (ENT), vascular, and orthopedic surgery. The hospital also provides extensive services in pediatrics, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, oncology, gastroenterology, rehabilitation, radiation oncology, pain management, obstetrics, and gynecology, and operates a Level IIB Special Care Nursery.

Stephen is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience guiding complex hospital organizations. Before joining Winchester Hospital, he served as CEO of HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital in South Carolina. He has also held leadership roles at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital and LewisGale Hospital Montgomery, both located in Virginia, and The Hospitals of Providence — Transmountain Campus in Texas. Stephen earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Louisiana State University and Master of Business Administration from Baylor University.
