About Manu Tandon
As Chief Information Officer for Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), Manu Tandon provides strategic and operational leadership to guide the future direction and integration of the information technology enterprise and enable high-quality service to clinical and business operations. He also leads BILH's Health Technology Exploration Center (HTEC) which is focused on building and shaping scalable technologies to transform the global health care landscape.
Manu has nearly 30 years of technology and management experience in health care, government and consulting sectors. He joined BIDMC in 2014 as Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Officer and within a year was elevated to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Since January 2020, he has also served as Interim Executive Director of BILH's Health Technology Exploration Center.
Prior to joining BIDMC, Manu held a number of leadership positions with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts including Secretariat Chief Information Officer for the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
Manu received his Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and Master in Business Administration from Boston University. He earned his Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University.
