About Kristine Laping
As Chief Development Officer for Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), Kristine Laping heads philanthropic activities across the entire system and oversees fundraising efforts in partnership with local leaders.
Previously, Kristine served as Chief Development Officer of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), where she made significant contributions to the medical center’s philanthropic progress. In her 16 years at BIDMC, Kristine grew the development program from raising $8 million to more than $100 million in annual philanthropic revenue. She also successfully led several multimillion-dollar campaigns, including the $750 million Where Extraordinary Lives comprehensive campaign, the largest in BIDMC's history.
Before taking on positions at BIDMC and BILH, Kristine led development programs at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She has also participated in several professional organizations, including Women in Development, and currently belongs to the Unnamed Society, which comprises fundraising leaders from the nation's top academic medical centers. Kristine received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
