About Kevin Coughlin
As President of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Plymouth (BID Plymouth), Kevin Coughlin leads the nonprofit community hospital, which has 170 licensed beds and provides residents in Plymouth and Barnstable counties with comprehensive health care services ranging from primary and preventive care to specialty services.
Kevin joined BID Plymouth in 2014, and has played an integral role in advancing the hospital's integration with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, expanding local access to services in areas such as cancer care, interventional cardiology and other specialty care services, and having an unrelenting focus on quality and safety. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President at Elliot Health System in Manchester, New Hampshire, where he was responsible for strategic planning and operations of the Elliot Physician Network and Ambulatory Services. From 2006 to 2010, Kevin was the Chief Operating Officer for the Boston Medical Center Faculty Practice Foundation where he had oversight of all business and ambulatory operations. He also worked in various administrative positions for 10 years at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
Kevin earned an undergraduate degree from Providence College and a Master of Business Administration from Boston College.
He resides with his family in Norwell.
