About Ed Huang, MD
As President of Mount Auburn Hospital, Edwin Huang, MD leads the 217-bed facility and leading provider of comprehensive health care services in Cambridge. A teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, its mission is to provide clinically excellent care with compassion and to teach students of medicine and the health professions. Mount Auburn Hospital offers comprehensive services in all medical specialties including obstetrics/gynecology, cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology, and orthopedics.
Dr. Huang joined Mount Auburn Hospital as Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2012 and is Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. He also serves as a Trustee of Mount Auburn Hospital and the Mount Auburn Cambridge Independent Practice Association.
Before joining Mount Auburn, he practiced and taught at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was Associate Director of the integrated Brigham and Women's/Massachusetts General Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.
Dr. Huang earned his undergraduate degree at Duke University and medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the Tufts-affiliated hospitals.
