About Ed Huang, MD

Dr. Edwin (Ed) Huang has been appointed Interim President of Mount Auburn Hospital. Dr. Huang's strong administrative leadership skills and deep commitment to patient care and medical education will ensure that Mount Auburn is in good hands as we initiate a national search for the hospital's next president.

Dr. Huang joined Mount Auburn Hospital as Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2012 and is Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. He also serves as a Trustee of Mount Auburn Hospital and the Mount Auburn Cambridge Independent Practice Association.

Before joining Mount Auburn, he practiced and taught at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was Associate Director of the integrated Brigham and Women's/Massachusetts General Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.

Dr. Huang earned his undergraduate degree at Duke University and medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the Tufts-affiliated hospitals.
