About Dean Carucci 

Dean Carucci is Divisional President, Community, for Beth Israel Lahey Health. As Community Division President, Dean oversees the vision, strategy and performance of BILH's community hospitals and their ambulatory sites: Anna Jaques Hospital, Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals, BayRidge Hospital, Exeter Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Milton, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Plymouth, and Winchester Hospital.

Prior to joining Beth Israel Lahey Health, Dean served as Market President of HCA Healthcare – New England, which includes three hospitals, six emergency departments and more than 60 sites of care. As Market President, Dean was responsible for the overall mission and strategic direction of the HCA New England market, including hospital operations, ambulatory outpatient services and ambulatory surgery center partnerships.

Dean has also served as CEO of Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a Level II Trauma Center that provides comprehensive tertiary care. Over the course of his career in health care, Dean has held progressive leadership roles in multiple divisional markets, including in New Hampshire, Kansas and Virginia. He is the Immediate Past Chair of the Board of the New Hampshire Hospital Association.

Dean earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Louisiana State University and Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
