Beth Israel Lahey Health Hospitals Recognized in Boston Magazine’s Ranking
BILH Hospitals Earn Top Hospital Designation
Boston Magazine recently unveiled its Top Hospitals list, which recognizes the hospitals that best demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Several Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) hospitals across numerous specialties were included in the annual ranking, including Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Milton, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Plymouth, BIDMC, Beverly Hospital, Lahey Clinic, Mount Auburn Hospital, New England Baptist Hospital and Winchester Hospital.
Boston Magazine works with Castle Connolly Medical, a national health care researcher, to produce its annual list of Boston's best hospitals. Castle Connolly uses a data-driven methodology to analyze patient data, performance measures, clinical expertise and a variety of other metrics to create a robust ranking system. Hospitals that prioritize patient safety, maintain low complication rates and deliver comprehensive treatment protocols are most likely to be recognized as Top Hospitals.
