Manu Tandon Named Chief Information Officer for Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH)
Cambridge, MA – Manu Tandon has been named Chief Information Officer for Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH). In this role, Tandon will provide strategic and operational leadership to guide the future direction and integration of BILH's information technology enterprise and enable high-quality service to clinical and business operations.

"Manu's decades of experience in health care and in the public and private sectors will make him a vital asset to our senior leadership team."
Most recently, Tandon was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). He joined BIDMC in 2014 as Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Officer and became Chief Information Officer in 2015. Additionally, since January 2020, he has led BILH's Health Technology Exploration Center (HTEC) which is focused on building and shaping scalable technologies to transform the global health care landscape.
Tandon brings nearly 30 years of technology and management experience in health care, government and consulting sectors to his new role. Prior to joining BILH, Tandon held a number of leadership positions with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts including Secretariat Chief Information Officer for the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.

Tandon received his Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School and Master in Business Administration from Boston University. He earned his Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University.
