Yogesh Gupta is President and Chief Executive Officer of Progress Software. Since October 2016, Mr. Gupta has strengthened Progress Software's market position, improved customer relationships, launched new products, acquired two companies, and significantly improved operating margins and cash flow. Progress Software has also refreshed its Board of Directors and built a strong new leadership team to drive success.

Mr. Gupta previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Kaseya, Inc., a private equity-backed software company providing IT management software solutions to managed service providers. Before Kaseya, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of FatWire Software, a venture capital-backed marketing automation software company, during which time he led the organization through a recession and doubled its revenue over four years, leading to a successful exit to Oracle Corporation. A 30-year software industry veteran, Mr. Gupta has held several corporate officer roles at CA Inc., including Chief Technology Officer, Chief Strategy Officer and head of M&A.

A recognized expert in emerging technologies and industry trends, and a published author, Mr. Gupta holds a patent in the field of neural networks.

Mr. Gupta received his undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and his Master of Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin.
